" I was touched today by the optimism and grace of my Aunt Ruth and Uncle Vercill. After a difficult year of health issues, Aunt Ruth's response to being asked how she was feeling was simply "It's been a year of new experiences." When we ended our visit, they made the effort to stand hand-in-hand by the door to say goodbye. In their late 80's and married for 62 years, they still smile at each other like teenagers."
