From his two marriages (1) Elizabeth and (2) Mary, he had a total of 13 children plus two step-children from Mary's first marriage which makes a total of 15.

When a small boy moved with parents to Fairfield Co., OH. Here he married Miss Elizabeth Warner. Seven children born, 2 girls, 5 boys: Mrs. Mary Catherine Loofbourrow of Fairfield, IA; Mrs. Sarah Ellen [Grieves] Greaves of Tonapah, NV; George F. of Bonaparte; Joseph Talbot of Bentonsport; Thomas Edward of Birmingham, all are living. Isaac Parker died in 1879; Simon died in infancy. In 1848 Mr. Syfert and family moved to Van Buren Co.. His wife died May 30, 1872. He married again to Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Jordon on March 4, 1873. To this union were born 5 children: Allie Maud Kisling of Stockport; and James Wesley. 2 daughters died in infancy and Charley on October 8, 1903. F-Millers Chapel Cemetery, Mt. Zion. Benjamin most likely was born in PA; census' list PA; and that both his parents were also born there. He is of German descent. From his marriages to (1) Elizabeth: (6 children) and (2) Mary: (5 children, 2 died in infancy, Charlie died in his 20's). Benjamin had a total of eleven children, plus two who died in infancy. He also had two stepchildren from Mary Elizabeth's first marriage to Johnson W. Jordan. Including all of the above children, Benjamin had a total of 15 children!
