Show Details Shared Note: - (Research):William Rittenhouse was a Deacon and Recorder. A list of members received in the Flatwoods Baptist Church, Uniontown, Penn., in 1842, include David Rittenhouse, James Rittenhouse, James Shanks and David Loofbourrow (probably Rev. David's son who married Jane Shanks).

William III died in 1816; therefore, could not have been a Deacon and Recorder in the year 1842. However, David I and his son, David II were still living. Still trying to place David and James Rittenhouse. They were possibly Catherine ‏(Rittenhouse)‏ Loofbourrow's brothers or nephews.
