Arthur and Barbara moved to UT after WW2; back to Bay area in the mid 1950's when Barbara's mother, Bertha ‏(Brown)‏ Loofbourrow, became very ill, died in 1956. They moved to Woodland Hills, CA in 1963, where Barbara died in 1969. Arthur and his youngest daughter, Mary, moved to Redding, CA in 1976, where he passed away in 1979. 9-12-09 More information from Deborah by email: "After WWII, my parents Arthur Henri Vignes and Barbara Jeanne Loofbourrow, lived in New Orleans, LA and then Lake Charles, LA. Jobs were difficult to come by after the war, so my parents moved to Provo, UT where he found work as the manager of the Provo Credit Bureau. We moved to Cupertino, CA about 1954 when our grandmother Bertha Brown Loofbourrow became ill. In 1961, our family moved to Woodland Hills where I graduated from El Camino Real High School and attended Pierce College. In 1975, I returned to San Jose with my sister Julie and her family."
