John and Ellen were married only 6 years when he died; no known children. After he died she lived with her parents, Christian and Mary A. ‏(Deal/Dill)‏ Graber, in Birmingham Town, Union Twp., Van Buren County, IA. Christian was no longer living 18 Jun 1900 Census; Mary and Ellen were living together, both widows, Birmingham Town, Union Twp., Van Buren County, IA; also in the 1910, 1920 & 1 Jan 1925 IA State Census'. Couldn't locate either one of them in the 1930 Census.
