Show Details Shared Note: - (Research):James Agnew/Todd Steele: As you can see, James (Agnew) Steel was born before Samuel married his mother, Mary Jane Todd, his second wife, and before he married Esther Blair, his first wife. He was raised by the childless sister of his mother who was married to James Steele, born abt 1827. So he took his uncle James Steele's name, but he was an Agnew. From Robt. Hornbaker's information.
