Further back on the Loofbourrows...I now have documented proof that links our John Loofbourrow Jr.'s wife, Abigail Wade ‏(b. 1695 New Haven, CT)‏ to both Rev. John Davenport and Rev. Abraham Pierson. Both were prominent colonial pastors in the Long Island-New Haven areas. Pierson was also a founder of Newark, NJ. Davenport and his son are associated with the founding of Yale University.

John Loofbourrow Jr. was born 1649 and died 1749, Woodbridge, NJ. Abigail Wade was a daughter of Rev. Nathaniel Wade, a Presbyterian pastor, who died at Woodbridge in 1715. I do not know who his parents were.
