Theresa Katherine ‏(Bertagnolli)‏ Smith, 80, died March 21, 2011.
She was born January 6, 1931 in St. Joseph to Frank and Dora ‏(Lilliger)‏ Bertagnolli.
On Dec. 24, 1950, she married JC Britten Smith, who passed away August 15, 1989. He was employed at St. Joseph News Press-Gazette for 23 years.
Survivors include Bill and Cheryl Smith, Martin and Peggy Derossett, Donald and Brittina Gardner; grandchildren, Eric and Dawn Schilling, Steven Schirmer, Amy Christopher, Martin Perrier, William and Shawna Christopher, Jessica Derossett, Nicholas and Leesa Derossett, Jesse and Adrian Phillips, Matthew Gardner, Autumn Gardner; great-grandchildren, Tyler, Coby, Charli, Larry, Skyler, Kalyn, Corbin, Britten, Samantha, Conner, Josh, Jacey; and her beloved pets, "Pancake" and "Zena."
Services at Memorial Park Cemetery in Saint Joseph, Mo. on Saturday, March 26, at 1 p.m.
