"Mount Zion is a rural school along State Highway 1, on the east side of the northeast quarter of section 7 of Van Buren Twp., over a half mile north of the town of Mount Zion and about a quarter of a mile south of the rural Presbyterian Church also known as Mount Zion. The name of the school is for the nearby town."
