1931: living in El Dorado, CA.
1945: At the time of his death, he was a retired railroad telegraph operator. In addition to his work as a telegrapher, he engaged in mining in the El Dorado area.

Charles Loofbourrow Services Tuesday At Sacramento

"Funeral services were held Tuesday at the Citizens Mortuary Chapel in Sacramento for Charles F. Loofbourrow, 72, a native of El Dorado. Mr. Loofbourrow died Saturday at a local hospital to which he had been removed earlier in the day from his residence in El Dorado. His late father was a grocer and had a store in Placerville and also at one time a store in El Dorado. The deceased was a railroad telegrapher in his active life.

He was the brother of Clarence E. Loofbourrow of Oakland; Wade Loofbourrow of Blue Canyon; Mrs. Nancy Roussin of Sacramento; Mrs. Harry Lee ‏(Emma)‏ Carpenter of Richmond; Mrs. Albert ‏(Twinney)‏ Bliss of Colfax and Mrs. Agnes Schearer of Santa Clara."
