Shared Note: - Published Jan. 8, 2018 at 09:44AM, "The Bulletin", Bend, OR.Ronald Eugene Kinnaman, "Captain Ron" August 11, 1936 - December 15, 2017 Ronald Eugene Kinnaman, "Captain Ron", lived in Sedona, AZ, and died peacefully in Chandler, AZ, in the care of Hospice on December 15, 2017. He had been surrounded by loving family the many days before he passed. Ronald was born in Pomona, CA, August 11, 1936, to Clarice Lorene (Annan) Berfield and Russell Kinnaman who preceded him in death. Also, preceding were his wife, Cecile; and stepson, John Brian McAfee. Ronald is survived by brother, Gordon Kinnaman, (Marjorie); son, Martin E. Kinnaman; daughter, Leslie K. Hammond; stepdaughter, Debra Elder Graves; and stepson, Paul McAfee; also seven grandchildren; and 11 greatgrandchildren, all whom he loved and adored. Ronald was a Military Veteran and had a career saving lives as a fireman in Pomona Fire Dept., Calif. Dept. of Forestry, and retired from UC Davis as a Fire Captain. Ronald enjoyed many years of boating, water skiing and snowmobiling in northern California. A memorial is being planned for mid March in Arizona.
