Shared Note: - Samuel L. Gsell, 71, 616 Garden street, died Wednesday afternoon at his home.Born in Plattsburg, Mo., Mr. Gsell lived here for 69 years. He was a retired employee of Swift & Co. and a veteran of World War I. He was a member of American Legion Post No. 11, and King Hill Methodist Church. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Irene Gsell of the home; one son, Thomas C. Gsell; one stepson, Robert Montgomery, of the home; one daughter, Mrs. Joseph Schons; three sisters, Mrs. Hallie Woods, Fort Worth, Texas, and Mrs. Katherine Eader and Mrs. Nina Simpson, Troy, Kan.; one brother, William Gsell, St. Joseph, and two granddaughters. Services for Samuel L. Gsell, 71, 616 Garden street, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Clark chapel, the Rev. Eugene Albright officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Military services will be conducted at the cemetery by the American Legion Post No. 11.
