Shared Note: - Thomas "Tom" Malone, 76, of Poulsbo died December 3rd at Harrison Medical Center. Tom was born November 23, 1931 in Amarillo, Texas. He served with the US Air Force during the Korean Conflict. On August 31, 1952 Tom married Arlene Loofbourrow in Santa Cruz, CA. Tom was an independent Insurance Broker and one of the last Independent Cotton Gin Owner/Operators in West Texas. Tom and Arlene raised their family in Lubbock, Texas. Upon retiring, Tom and Arlene moved to Port Ludlow, where they resided until January 2007 when they moved to Poulsbo. Tom enjoyed golf, fishing, cooking, boating and was an avid woodworker. Tom was a loving husband to Arlene; caring father to Shelli (Ron) Simons of Lubbock, TX; Tom Malone, Jr. (Gina) of Spanish Fork, UT and Jim (Debbie) Malone of Maple Valley; grandfather of 9 and great-grandfather of 1. A funeral service will be held at Poulsbo Mortuary on Saturday, December 8, 2007 at 1 PM. Burial will follow at Cherry Grove Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be given to Multiple Sclerosis Foundation or Northwest Kidney Foundation.
