Many have referred to the link with Rev. Nathaniel Wade to Gov. Simon Bradstreet and wife, Anne Dudley Bradstreet through Maj. Nathaniel Wade of Medford, MA. This relationship has been written up in numerous genealogies and claimed for years, but there is no proof that Rev. Nathaniel Wade was the son of Maj. Nathaniel Wade. When you check out the Wade line, you see that the link just isn't there. Hate to burst anyone's bubble, but it appears that we CANNOT claim the Bradstreet line. Wish I knew who Rev.
