Your first line matches my info. I don't know how many children Philip Worthwine & Elizabeth Strumpff had, my direct lineage is Mary Catherine Worthwine. The following was her obituary in the local Guthrie, Oklahoma paper:
Mary Catherine Worthwine, daughter of Elizabeth (Strumpff) Worthwine, born in Kentucky & Philip Worthwine born in Germany; settled at St. Joseph, Missouri. Born October 8, 1858 at St. Joseph, Missouri. Died September 17, 1931, age 72 years 11 months and 9 days. Her mother died when Mary C. was 7 years old. She married Hiram Taylor November 7, 1875 at Savannah, Missouri, mother of 14 children, came to Oklahoma in 1889, homestead 5 miles S.E. of Guthrie.
Survivors: (her sons) Thomas, Arthur, Walter A."Jack", Fred "Jewel", Sam; (her daughers) Mrs Andrew Schneider (Minnia), Mrs Fred Perry (Mattie), Mrs Charley Ramsey (Isabel), Mrs Fred Philips (Lizzie), Mrs Albert Keispert (Ona), Mrs Edward Mahnke (Mamie), Mrs Arthur Mahnke (Grace) half-sister: Mrs Rache Ringer brother: Mr William H "Bill" Worthwine Mr Joe Lilliger (no blood relation)
So going by the info in the obit we assumed that Elizabeth died in 1865, "Bill" could be an older or younger brother with Philip dying in 1860. Then Rache would be Rache Liliger Ringer born before 1865.
Who is Louisa Worthwine Lynch?
Mary's father died about 2 months before she was born?
